This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”)  tells you  how Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, Inc., a Maryland not-for-profit corporation located at 1500 East Jefferson Street, Rockville, MD 20852 (“JFGH”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects and uses information collected through our website located at www.jfgh.org (the “Website”).  The Website enables visitors to the website (“Visitors”) to browse the website, without being required to provide us with personally identifiable information (“PII”) about you.  Visitors that choose to provide their PII to us through their use of the Website are “Users” under this policy. That may include your PII as described in the Information Collection section below.  The terms “you”, “your” and “yours” when used herein refer to either Users or Visitors or to both Users and Visitors collectively, as applicable, provided, that such terms will refer collectively to both Users and Visitors unless the context of this Agreement indicates otherwise.

By using the Website, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to the terms of JFGH’s Terms of Use Agreement accessible via the footer on each page of the Website (the “Terms of Use”).

Information Collection

JFGH may collect your PII which you voluntarily provide to us during your use of the Website.  PII includes, among other things, names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone numbers and credit card information.  You may provide PII to us in several ways, including making donations of money or property, requesting or purchasing goods or services, registering for events, seeking specific information from us, registering to periodically receive information, notices and updates from us and completing applications for employment or to serve as volunteers. This information is used to respond to your requests and actions and for our internal analysis.

Information Sharing

JFGH may provide your PII to individuals or entities we engage to assist in the fulfillment or the execution of your actions and requests made through the Website.  The information collected by our service providers in executing transactions you have requested through the Website (including without limitation credit card settlement companies) is subject to the privacy policies of such third parties.

Except for such actions by us or in the special circumstances described in the following paragraph, JFGH will not sell, trade or share your PII, (whether secured by your use of this Website or by your donations of money or property to us by any means) with anyone else, nor will we send you mailings on behalf of other organizations, unless we have requested and received your express prior consent to do so.

Security

 JFGH takes steps to help secure PII collected from you from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and accidental destruction while under its control.  However, no security measures are perfect; and despite our efforts to protect information which is provided to us, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be lost, disclosed or accessed by accidental circumstances or by the unauthorized acts of others

Children

 The Website is not directed to anyone under the age of thirteen (13) years. JFGH does not knowingly solicit or collect PII from anyone under thirteen (13) years of age.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

 JFGH reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time.  You agree that your continued use of the Website after any such modifications have been made shall be deemed to be your conclusive acceptance of any modified version of this Privacy Policy.   We will indicate that changes to this Privacy Policy have been made by updating the date indicated after “Last Updated” at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.  We will provide you with prior versions of this Privacy Policy upon your written request us.. If you do not agree to abide by the initial version or any modified version of this Privacy Policy, then you are not authorized to use the Website.  The then current version of this Privacy Policy is accessible via the footer on each page of the Website.
