Marcy Schlissel, OTR/L

Marcy is a board-certified occupational therapist in Maryland and Virginia. Marcy has been working with the IDD population and people with cognitive deficits for a long time. Marcy graduated from a Pilates center and has taught Pilates in MD, DC, and NYC. She later opted for occupational therapy as her final career choice and graduated from Columbia University in New York. Her goal is to promote wellness and health of IDD individuals. She addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory, and other aspects of occupational performance in a variety of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities that affect health, well-being, and quality of life.
